TT-SCOUTING: a holistic concept for a promising future! –
Unique in table tennis!

Individual promotion:

We give young table tennis talents from South America the chance to improve their sportive and personal skills, in Europe and under professional conditions, what´s usually not possible in the home countries of the players.

Holistic concept:

TT-SCOUTING has set an aim that includes much more than just the development as sportsmen. Every single talent should get the possibility to use higher education to build up a promising future for the time during and after the career as an athlete. Therefore the entire family of the player can profit of this holistic concept. This approach makes TT-SCOUTING a unique project in table tennis.

Our claim: To offer every talent the best individual promotion and support. On the sporting as well as on a social level

Our Philosophy:

Together with our partners we are working hard for the development of the talents as sportsman and as a person. We create an environment with perfect conditions for table tennis, but also for the personal and social education. For example: attending a language institute, gaining a secondary education, entering into a university or starting an apprenticeship.

One Team, one Goal!

Since the beginning of TT-SCOUTING we built up a small network of players, clubs and training centers. Additionally we managed to convince partners to join the team which are not in daily contact with table tennis. They cooperate with us and support the project with their expertise.

The beginnings of TT-SCOUTING

A first success story

In 2014 Marc Wannagat, sports manager and coach from Germany, and Alan Blas, former national team coach of Peru, offered a training camp in Peru to a 17 year old talent from the province Junin of Peru.

His name:  Ivan Santivanez. The talent convinced with great effort, his strength of will and high discipline. As reward he was invited to a first 3-month stay in Germany at the top club ESV Weil am Rhein in the south of Germany. The son of a working class family, without any competition experience and no foreign language skills exceeded all expectations.

He improved every day on technical as well as tactical aspects and showed great engagement in studying the German language.

Meanwhile Ivan is about to become part of the Peruvian national team and will begin to study in a university in Germany or to take up an apprenticeship.

Being a talent of TT-SCOUTING means:
